ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Please ensure you meet one of these requirements:

Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM)
A pass with at least a credit in three (3) subjects and a pass in English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mathematics and Science
Unified Examination Certificate (UEC)
A pass with a grade B in a minimum of three (3) subjects and a pass in Mathematics and Science
O-Level
A pass with a grade B in a minimum of three (3) subjects and a pass in Mathematics and Science
Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM)
A pass with a Maqbul grade and a pass in Mathematics and Science at SPM level
An enrichment programme (if required)
Other Certificates (MQF Level 3)
A pass with a minimum PNGK of 2.00;
Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia (STPM)
A pass with with a minimum grade of C (GP 2.0) in one (1) subject and a pass in Mathematics and Science at SPM level
Any other relevant and equivalent qualification, experience or requirement recognised by the Univeristy Panel or Malaysian authorities

This programme is designed for graduates to be professionally trained in the theory, knowledge, skills and methods of psychology.

Graduates will be ready to work in welfare agencies, rehabilitation centres, community centres, government organisations, NGOs and private sector companies. Graduates are trained to be progressive, innovative, creative and efficient in problem solving and making patient/client management decisions. Graduates are also expected to adhere to the ethical principles and professional conduct of the psychology profession by demonstrating understanding, respect and responsibility towards religion, society, culture and the environment.

The objective of the programme is to produce graduates who have a comprehensive understanding of the principles of the human mind and behaviour and are able to apply these principles when dealing with people while also enhancing human potential in the community or workplace.
