The Cosmopoint College Group (Cosmopoint College) was established in 1991 and comprises 11 colleges located throughout Malaysia.

In 2012, Cosmopoint College became a government-linked entity after its acquisition by Ekuiti Nasional Berhad (EKUINAS), an investment firm owned by the Malaysian Government.

Cosmopoint College then upgraded its facilities, student experience and academic delivery. These efforts paid off when 8 out of 11 Cosmopoint Colleges received 5-star recognition by the Ministry of Higher Education through the Malaysia Quality Evaluation System (MyQuest) in 2017. Today, Cosmopoint College ranks in the top 30% among all private colleges in Malaysia.

With over 30 years of experience, over 50,000 graduates, and a 5-star recognition from the Ministry of Higher Education, Cosmopoint College invites everyone to join their next phase of transformation - Providing 5-star Education for all.

Cosmopoint College is not a foreign name in Malaysia and has produced tens of thousands of graduates since its establishment in 1991. From its inception as an IT training centre, Cosmopoint College has since grown to 11 colleges throughout Malaysia with one upgraded to a University College in Kuala Lumpur. While Cosmopoint College was known as an institution with a focus on IT for its first 15 years, today’s Cosmopoint College is proud to be one of the leading institutions in the field of office management and continues to expand its hospitality, business and creative arts programmes.

Now, Cosmopoint College also offers Master’s and Certificate level programmes as part of its transformation under Ekuiti Nasional Berhad (EKUINAS). The future of Cosmopoint College shines brightly, and our commitment to improving academic quality, facilities and job marketability rate will continue.

PROGRAMME MODULES

The G.E.R.A.K Programme is an initiative to improve the employability of graduates under Cosmopoint’s institutions of higher learning – namely Kuala Lumpur Metropolitan University College (KLMUC) and the Cosmopoint Group of Colleges.

The G.E.R.A.K Programme – the first of its kind from a higher-education institution in Malaysia – has three cores

  1. Offering programmes and syllabuses that meet industry needs;

  2. Mandating additional training and modules to improve employability; and

  3. Collaborating with Industry Partners for job placement opportunities and programme input

The unique element to Cosmopoint Sdn. Bhd.’s programme is its offer to return up to 50% of tuition fees to those who fail to obtain employment within 6 months of graduating.
